Xavier Centre of Historical Research organized a History Hour Lecture entitled: “GOA’S INQUISITION: Facts-Fictions-Factoids”, presented by the author, Mr. Alan Machado (Prabhu) on November 3rd, 2022 at Xavier Centre of Historical Research Porvorim.
The lecture was very well attended by a large number of academics and history related persons. Machado highlighted the formation and functioning of the Goa Inquisition based on facts and factoids and busted fiction which has blurred the reality of the Inquisition. Dr. Jason Keith Fernandes, researcher and academician, ably moderated the History Hour and the Q & A session which was open to the audience.
